The WAM Foundation seeks to reduce human suffering globally.
Our grants contribute to filling three gaps in global development:
• The knowledge gap - figuring out what works to increase wellbeing
• The implementation gap - funding high-quality operators to apply what we know to improve lives
• The capital gap - working with other funding partners to increase total financing for high-impact global development
High-impact, underfunded sectors.
We analyze funding opportunities based on their potential for high impact on the alleviation of suffering.
The WAM Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Weiss Asset Management and operates independently of any other grant-making foundation.
