WAM Foundation’s mission is to reduce human suffering globally. With an Allocation Committee of development economists and practitioners, we support evidence-based, highly cost-effective operations and research that we expect to yield a high social rate of return.
About Our Grantmaking Criteria
We seek to support organizations that deliver evidence-based programming and researchers that generate rigorous evidence that directly informs programs or policies. We also seek to support efforts to scale highly cost-effective interventions through programs and interventions implemented by governments and other funders. We anticipate that most awards will range from $50,000 to $1.5M.
