Priority Areas
Our Allocation Committee has expressed particular interest in the funding areas listed below. The committee and expert reviewers with specialized expertise will review the proposals in these priority areas against others in the same areas.
1. Nutrition
We seek proposals that address nutrition challenges in low- and lower-middle-income countries, with a focus on highly cost-effective interventions that can improve nutrition-related health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
2. Health Impacts of Poor Air Quality
We invite proposals that address the health impacts of poor air quality, with a focus on evidence-based and cost-effective interventions that seek to improve human health rather than address broader climate-change issues. Proposals may include interventions and research that generate insights into mitigating the adverse effects of poor air quality on people in low- and lower-middle-income countries.
3. Health Services Delivery
We seek proposals that offer systemic solutions or research related to efficient delivery of health services in low- and lower-middle-income countries. Proposals could include research and interventions that are evidence-based or evidence-generating. We are particularly interested in practical solutions that could improve supply chains, streamline implementation, and maximize impact for vulnerable populations.
